"OUTRAGE in person!" Ok, so this game was purchased for our family many many years ago by Gma and Gpa McKinley when they went to England. We all have a love hate relationship with it. It is the type of game that can be played in 45 minutes, or 3 hours, depending. It was one of  Sawyer's favorite games because he would always say, "The name is real because we always end up outraged at whoever wins and especially when we lose!" So I don't know if he really loved it, or just loved how angry we would all get at the game. Anyway, score one for Brittany for getting #mysawyerbracelet a real live peak at the Crown Jewels and sending Sawyer to "Beauchamp Tower"! He would've been all over this!   

Being at Sawyer's school is difficult, but now it is Sterling's school. When we moved here he was the only one attending that school so it was always know as "Sawyer's school." Even when Sterling wants to go play on the playground she will ask, "Can we go play at Sawyer's school?" I have forced myself to go and volunteer in the classroom a couple of times a month just so I can be in the classroom with Sterling, but every time I enter those doors I am flooded with Sawyer. I only go when I have mustered the strength and then it takes time to come down off the emotional wave. Jack. Poor Jack is in that school all the time. In the middle school where Sawyer died. In the high school where we had Sawyer's Celebration of Life. He is flooded with these emotional waves constantly. And Grayson. As Miranda titled her photos I found myself reading about these places and their significance. I thought this parallel was very fascinating and germane to things happening today. Powerful and moving words from Miranda: Hello from the Holy Land! I have created a google drive folder for the pictures I take of my Sawyer bracelet at the different sites we visit.  I wanted to share with you both the special experience i had bringing Sawyer with me to the Garden Tomb today.  The peace I felt in the Garden was unlike any peace I have ever experienced in my life. It was surreal. As I took this picture of the bracelet in front of the tomb to send to you, I was overwhelmed with so many emotions. To be able to bring your Sawyer with me to the place that symbolizes conquering death, and that he will one day live again, that you all will get to see your brother and son once more was an incredible experience for me. By bringing Sawyer with me to the Tomb, my testimony was strengthened of the Resurrection and the beauty of the Plan of Salvation. The Spirit testified to me the truth of the events that happened there almost 2000 years ago, that Christ really did rise

As one of the Sawyer Holden Clemmer McKinley Scholarship recipients, Katie came by after the awards ceremony to say thank you. We didn't make it-we knew it would be too tough to sit through. It meant the world that she stopped in to say thank you and honor Sawyer this way. And as always, sporting her #mysawyerbracelet. 

Off to her Senior Awards Banquet Night. Katie sports her #mysawyerbracelet bracelet everyday. I love her for it.

Before we went to The Connells concert Jack and I went to the Que Paso Festival. Jack had gone with the boys a couple of times when we first moved here but I had never gone. The boys loved going and stuffing their faces. Jack, eating the most ginormous burger for Sawyer. And his friend Gerb.
