Solvang Miranda Today in Sunday school we were talking about the come follow me lesson about “He is risen”. Someone shared a thought that reminded me of the article you posted about still using the present tense when talking about loved ones who have passed on. She shared how her dad passed away 3 years ago, and she often uses the present tense so she doesn’t have to explain the situation. This week, as she was studying about the resurrection, she came to the realization that because of the resurrection, present tense still works when talking about our deceased loved ones. They still exist. They are still learning and growing on the other side of the veil. They still love all the things they loved in life and have their personality. And all I could think is Sawyer still loves tacos and the beach and is being his outrageous, fun-loving self. The present tense applies to Soy, 100%  ️
